The deep soul rest we all crave
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” - Matthew 11:28
Life has a way of beating us down. As men, we often feel the weight of responsibility, the pressure to perform, to provide, to be strong.
We carry the burdens of our work, our families, and our own expectations.
Over time, these burdens can leave us feeling worn out, discouraged, and even hopeless.
Where do you turn for refreshment? For rest? For renewal?
The world offers us many escapes, but there is only one place where we can consistently find the deep soul rest we crave: in the loving, grace-filled arms of Jesus.
When we come to Jesus, we can lay down our burdens. We can hand over our stress, our worries, our guilt, and our shame. We can trust that He will carry these things for us, that His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
So today, if you’re feeling weary, worn out, or overwhelmed, accept Jesus’s invitation.
Trust that in His presence, you will find the refreshment and renewal your soul craves.
