Our stories reflect God’s power
“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.” - 2 Corinthians 4:7
All of our stories contain brokenness…parts that hurt us, parts that we feel ashamed of, parts that we hope people never discover.
And we can trick ourselves into believing that we are the only ones broken in this particular way.
But we’re all broken. And every man’s story is part of a greater narrative, one that begins in the Garden of Eden and includes sin and death, but also healing and redemption.
Each part of our stories reflects not just the way God is working in our lives, but the way He is working in the world.
When we realize we are part of a bigger story, it gives us perspective.
It reminds us we’re not alone in our brokenness and redemption stories—and we don’t have to hide.
Sharing our stories disarms shame, connects us more deeply to one another, and bears witness to God’s redemptive power.
How can you share your own stories of brokenness and redemption that reflect God’s glory and encourage someone else in their personal journey?
