“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” - Romans 8:28

Most of us have had seasons where we just feel stuck.

You’re doing the right things. You’re showing up, praying, trying to grow, trying to change and be faithful … but nothing seems to be moving in the right direction.

That can be frustrating when you’re used to solving problems and making things happen. We like progress we can measure. We like forward motion. We like knowing our effort is producing results.

But spiritual growth doesn’t always feel like immediate progress.

Sometimes it feels like waiting.

Sometimes it feels like wrestling.

Sometimes it feels like taking the same small step over and over again.

And sometimes, what feels like a roadblock may actually be an invitation.

An invitation to slow down, to pay attention, to ask a different question. To stop forcing the door open and start listening for where God may be leading you.

I’ve had moments where I thought being stuck meant something was wrong. Over time, I’ve learned that God often uses those places to get our attention.

Not to shame us.

Not to abandon us.

But to teach us a deeper kind of trust.

A trust that doesn’t depend on constant movement.

A trust that believes God is still present, even when the path ahead feels unclear.

It’s a good reminder that our job is faithfulness, not forcing outcomes.

So if you feel stuck today, don’t assume God is absent. Invite Him into that place with you. Ask what He may be showing you.

Where in your life do you feel stuck?

What might God be asking you to notice in this season?

What small step of faithfulness can you take today?
