“And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” - Philippians 1:6

I’ve spent enough years in fitness and training world to know something most people don’t like hearing:

Real transformation takes time.

Everybody wants fast results.
Quick progress.
Immediate breakthroughs.

But meaningful growth, whether it’s physical, emotional, or spiritual, usually happens slower than we want.

You don’t build strength after one workout.
You don’t build trust after one conversation.
You don’t become wholehearted overnight.

Most growth happens slower than we’d like.

We want instant transformation.
Quick breakthroughs.
Immediate clarity.

But God often works through process instead of shortcuts.

A strong marriage is built conversation by conversation.
Trust is rebuilt one honest moment at a time.
Character is formed through repeated choices over many years.

Even spiritual growth tends to unfold gradually.

There are moments where God moves suddenly and powerfully. But more often, transformation looks like daily surrender, quiet faithfulness, and learning to trust Him one step at a time.

That can feel frustrating when we want immediate change.

We may wonder:
Why am I still struggling with this?
Why is healing taking so long?
Why don’t I feel farther along?

But growth rarely happens in straight lines.

The good news is this: God is patient with us.

He is not asking for instant perfection. He is inviting us into relationship and transformation over time.

Where do you feel frustrated with your own growth right now?

What would change if you trusted that God is still faithfully working in you, even when progress feels slow?
